3D Printing and Modelling for Adults

Adult learners (Aged 18 and above) will delve into the exciting realm of merging pop culture with cutting-edge technology in this class. Participants will immerse themselves in the fascinating world of 3D printing and technology, gaining comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals necessary to discover their individual passions. By the conclusion of the program, they will adeptly bridge the divide between the physical and digital spheres, unlocking an array of thrilling prospects in the digital entertainment industries.

3D Modelling

  • Learn how to use Fusion 360, CURA, Blender, ZBrush
  • Create original models from your own imagination
  • Obtain skills to work with models from your favorite media (video games, movies, and more)
  • Utilize your new skills to build a portfolio for the digital entertainment industry

3D Printing

  • Learn Industry standards taught by our Certified Additive Manufacturing Technicians
  • Create real world objects that rival the Hollywood industry
  • Understand when to use Resin vs FDM and get the most out of each
  • Service your tabletop ambitions and bring your next campaign ideas to life

What To Expect

Take Home Items

Each student will be assigned a printer within the workshop for the 10 week course.  All PLA/PETG Materials and post-processing supplies are provided.  If your project(s) require TPU or Carbon Fiber based Materials we can provide you with a quote beforehand  If your print requires an electronics component we will  be able to order it for you from BC Robotics (Nanaimo) or one of the BC owned Robotics shops on the mainland.  All electronics components will require an extra charge.  All Students in the Class will receive:
